The 13 th largest state in the U.S. that produces over 72 types of precious and semi-precious stones is the wonderful state of Idaho. Known as the Gem State precisely for this reason Idaho is filled with friendly small towns and great scenic activities. With major industries in manufacturing, tourism, timber and mining, and the number one national producer of potatoes, trout, and lentils; it is a great place to work, live, and play. The climate and weather patterns are influenced by the Pacific Ocean and generally have warm summer temperatures and chilling winter months make the availability of summer and winter activities plentiful. You will not be bored during any part of the year.

With the largest community being Boise and next in line Nampa the population is relatively low in comparison with other states. There are only 64,000 people in Nampa and about 200,000 in Boise the best of everything in a small community. The lowest crime rate in the West, 21.3 percent less than the national average makes this one of the safest place in the country to live. We all need that kind of security for better peace of mind.

 

Moving to Idaho will require just as much planning and research as moving to any other major city or state.
